Job Summary

To lead the development, implementation and oversight of behavioural alignment and discipline frameworks to promote a culture of professionalism, integrity and accountability within the Public Health Service workforce.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to staff conduct, discipline, and behavioural standards. • Oversee the management of disciplinary cases, ensuring fair, transparent, and timely resolution. • Provide guidance and training to managers and staff on behavioural expectations and disciplinary processes. • Supervise the work of deputy managers responsible for investigations, appeals, and grievances. • Monitor trends in disciplinary cases and recommend preventive and corrective actions. • Collaborate with HR, legal, and departmental managers to ensure compliance with labour laws, Health service regulations, policies, and other related professional regulations. • Prepare regular reports on behavioural alignment and discipline for senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent, Health Service Administration/Management, Law, or a relevant field. • Master’s degree in Human Resource Management or other relevant field. • At least 2 years working experience at Deputy Director level or equivalent in a relevant field.

Skills Required

• Experience in employee relations, discipline management, or HR operations, preferably in the public health sector. • Leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
